2013 Go Skateboarding Day

The 10-year Anniversary of GSD

June 21, 2013 is the 10-year Anniversary of Go Skateboarding Day. We’ve partnered with the Smithsonian to put on Innoskate, a two-day event celebrating innovation in skateboarding with the Lemelson Center at the National Museum of American History. We hope you can join us in Washington, D.C., it’s going to be a GSD for the history books!

 「2013 Go Skateboarding Day」イベントが6月21日、世界中で開催された。「Go Skateboarding Day」は2003年にスタートし、201３年でちょうど10周年になった。IASCは10周年を記念して、Lemelson Center（National Museum of American History）とコラボレーションプロジェクト「Innoskate 2013」を打ち出した。

Innoskate, a public festival hosted by the Smithsonian's Lemelson Center and IASC, celebrates skate culture’s widespread innovative spirit. June 21 and 22 at the National Museum of American History on the National Mall.

「Innoskate 2013」は1980年代以降のスケートボード進化とスケートカルチャーを多面的に捉えたイベントで、ワシントンDCのNational Museum of American History（ナショナルモール）で６月21-22日に開催された。

Innoskate kicks-off on Friday, June 21, with an evening showing of Bones Brigade: An Autobiography, with special appearances by original members of the Bones Brigade.

プロジェクトはスミソニアンのLemelson Centerで、スケートデッキとパーツのイノベーションをアピールする展示を行った。2012年にリリースされた「Bones Brigade」の上演、トニーホーク、ロドニー・ミューレンも出演するパネルディスカッションも開催された。
